picspam: the non-judging breakfast club 1x17
So, given my extreme obsession with all things OT4, there was no way I could not picspam the awesome that was the OT4 in this weeks gossip girl. And so I bring you the very best of the UES royalty. If only all episodes could focus on this foursome, the show would be even better than it is already.

And so it begins with Blair calling on her boys, who are immediately at her service while the Brooklynites lamely watch on.




Said boys then end up in what will now be known as the Elevator-of-AWESOME! (or feel free to replace AWESOME with HOTNESS, AWKWARD, HOT SEXY BOYS etc) The point is the Elevator has transcended the realm of just a way to reach Blair's penthouse. It will now represent the place Nate and Chuck were trapped together for thirty seconds and shared intense i'm-pretending-not-to-look-at-you-but-i-totally-am looks.




The elevator finally opens only for more awkwardness to ensue while Chuck contemplates the merits of this being a peverse double date. You can clearly see his mind has gone to the only natural conclusion for this threesome and that would be, well, a threesome. Hee. Nate probably knows what Chuck is thinking and thus is anxious to remove himself from the situation as he is trying very hard to hold on to those angry feelings. Oh Nate, give it up, you know you love Chuck. Sadly for Nate Dorota informs him that Miss Blair is not here yet and he'll just have to wait.




Blair finally arrives and we get the most awesomest show of awesomeness from the boys ever. This scene is pure the boys love those girls oh so much. The concern and just everything in this scene is just gah!! Up to this point I think I was doing a good job keeping this commentary not just a bunch of squeeing, but this scene kind of turns thoughts to mush.





The foursome then continue to be awesome and helpful. Chuck is on grocery duty (to which he recieves a sincere "thank you" from Blair) while Nate helps Blair get Serena in the shower like the gentleman he is. Too bad the same can not be said about his ex-bff who takes a moment to watch his step-sis undress. Oh Chuck, this is why I love you, because even in a crisis you never change. Hee.




Nate does not appreciate the pervyness as much as I seem to and closes the door behind him as he accuses Chuck of enjoying this. Well ofcourse, Chuck totally misses the old days when the foursome were totally awesome together and ruled the UES without associating with lame people like the Humphrey's.




Blair breaks up the BFF moment by returning to the room and being completely evasive as to why Serena is in such a state.




Humphrey then arrives at the Penthouse and wonders why the breakfast club are assembled since they all hate each other. This seems to be news to Chuck who looks at Dan like he's crazy. I kind of love that in this scene Blair seemed genuinely upset at having to tell Dan Serena didn't want to see him. But what I love even more in the OT3 completely in sync and moving together to block him. Also notice that Blair almost puts her hand on Chuck's arm as she moves next to him, but then doesn't. I love the little details. Oh and Chuck's 'i'm pretending not to listen to your break up' look is classic.





The breakfast club then proceed to try and get the truth out of Serena by listing all the terrible things they have done. This scene alone contains so many quot-worthy lines I think it's best I just quote them. Surfice to say they are all awesome and the fact that CB had sex in the limo several times is all kinds of win!




"i had sex with him in the back of a limo" "several times"
"i had sex with you at a wedding while i was her date. once"
"i'm chuck bass"
"we're the non judging breakfast club. we're your best friends"


And so Serena finally confesses her sins. Except she decides to recount her sex with Nate as a starting point which is not really where the story started, why would you not skim over that part yourself S? Anyway before that Blair gets jealous at the idea of Chuck losing his virginity to Georgina in 7th 6th grade but Chuck assures her G is a psycho who he is avoiding. Nate quickly interupts this little lovers spat to get back on topic, clearly the UST between CB is so obvious it's a little hard to take for our Nate right now as he has not yet embraced the threesome idea.

This scene ends with HAND HOLDING (!!!!) between our favorite step-sibs who have been making with the awesome lately. This made me squee a little hard since i only friend-ship them, but it was very cute. We then have looks between my fave OT3, Chuck looks at Nate, Nate looks at Chuck. Nate looks at Blair, Blair looks at Nate, it's one big circle of looks and since i've been deprived of OT3 for so long this makes me happy.






Now that the story is out Nate has disappeared to go get lost on the subway while the next generation of the Bass family (step-sibs, married, step-sis-in-laws, yep that's totally how it's going to be in ten years) arrive at the Rehearsal dinner. Chuck spots the future Mrs Van der Bass who does not look happy and gives a quick heads up to his fave sister. Unfortunately the talk with Lily did not go well for Serena, but as always Blair is there in a second to pick up the pieces (and later give Lily a piece of her "i don't care who listens" mind).




Meanwhile Nate finds out Georgie as Sarah is hanging out with Dan and Vanessa and decides to share this with Blair because he obviously wants her to save him from having to take the subway. She does not disappoint and tells him to stay where he is so she can pick him up. The conversation also includes some classic "eww" and "gross" on the topics of Queens and hanging out with Vanessa. Totally appropriate Blair reactions.




Blair then decides to enlist Chuck's help to bring Georgina down, but for some reason she thinks she needs to give him the 'let's go have sex in the limo several times' eyes. Or more likely those are also her 'let's go be evil together' eyes. The fact that they are one and the same is kind of awesome. Chuck is all "WTF is up with you?" but he would never turn down the chance to have sex in the limo several times go make with the evil. DID I MENTION THIS SCENE IS AWESOME?!




After picking up Nate and having an offscreen totally awesome and awkward limo ride (why offscreen!!!) the OT3 arrive at the concert. Blair and Chuck give identical "bitch please" looks to Vanessa until Nate rescues her from their wrath and leaves. Blair and Chuck stand awesomely awkwardly alone together until Serena arrives to save them from themselves. She is looking for Dan ofcourse who unfortunately for Chuck is still around somewhere (except he's not because he is a terrible son who left his Dad's concert to go off with a virtual stranger who made up some psycho ex-boyfriend name changing story that he believed! But that's a totally different issue.)




And finally "Humphrey" calls Blair, except it's not Humphrey at all. It's dun dun dun, Georgina! Blair and Chuck look pretty sitting together and that is where the CBNS ends.




So sorry for the rambling all the way through, I will be surprised if anyone bothered to read all the commentary, but hey the pictures are the pretty people so just looking is good too. :)
